I grew up in small town, Storm Lake, IA, where it was very hard to make creative change. I believe that designers are the future and we have the power to help others and make it beautiful in the process. 

 

I am an Iowa State University alumni, with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and a focus on making & materials. During my time at Iowa State, I have learned about user experience design, strengthened my research skills, and explored many materials. With this experience, I have been able to produce chairs, tables, household objects, bags and countless prototypes.

My current design endeavors have been with a plastic injection molding prototyping company named Protolabs. While I have gained an immense amount of industry knowledge, I am ready to apply my skills in a different avenue.

I am extremely driven to design. Pushing myself to create innovative designs, while exploring new materials and softwares is something I hope to do in the future. I admire the innovation that has already been established in many companies old and new, and it's something that I am excited to contribute to.
